Kalki vs Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

♦ Refutation to the evidences of Prophet Muhammad(peace be upon him) as Kalki:
.
Personally I do not believe that Kalki Avtar is Muhammad (sallahu alaihi wa sallam). It is an insult to our beloved Prophet.
.
What Dr Ved Prakash or Dr Zakir Naik explained is based on their intention. Specially Dr Zakir Naik has shown similar points in order to call people to Islam. But there is no clear cut evidence where it is specifically said that Kalki is our beloved Prophet.

=> Why I can not agree??:
.
I am using Dr Zakir's references as Dr Zakir has presented all the points of Dr Ved Prakash in a nutshell.
.
Dr Zakir's first ponit was:
///The name of his mother will be Sumati (K.P.2: 4 & 11), which means gentle and thoughtful, Prophet Muhammad’s mother’s name was Aaminah, which means peaceful and gentle.....
His father’s name will be ‘Vishnuyash’ which means ‘worshipper of Vishnu’ i.e. ‘worshipper of God’. Muhammad’s father’s name was Abdullah which means ‘obedient worshipper of Allah i.e. God’.///

Firstly, the name "Kalki" and "Muhammad" is completely different and there is no similarity between these two names.
Secondly, the name of Kalki's parents may seem similar in meaning with the name of our prophet. But the meaning can be similar, but not the name itself. How can we be sure where the names are completely in different language?
So let us see his next points.
.
///He will be born in a village called ‘Sambhala’ which means house of peace and security. Makkah is known as Darul Aman, which means house of peace and security.....He will be born in the house of chief of the village Sambhala. Muhammad (pbuh) was born in the house of the chief of the Kaaba.///

Now where is this Sambhala? Let us see what Wikipedia says about it:

"Whatever its historical basis, Shambhala (spelling derived from Buddhist transliterations) gradually came to be seen as **a Buddhist pure land,** a fabulous kingdom whose reality is visionary or spiritual as much as physical or geographic."

So, historically Sambhala will be place where the follower of Buddha will remain mainly. My question, is Makka a pure Buddhist land???

His third point was:
///It is prophesied that Kalki Avtar will be born on the 12th day of the bright (first) half of the month of Madhav. It is a historical fact Muhammad (pbuh) was born on the 12th day of the bright half of the month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.///

How can he be sure about it?? Look what his own Salafi scholars say:
.
"The biographers and historians differed concerning the day and month of the birth of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). This is something for which there is good reason, as it was not known what status this newborn would achieve; his situation was like that of any other newborn. Hence no one can state with certainty the date of his birth (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him)..."

His next point is:
///He has been described as the ‘Antim’ i.e. ‘the last and final’ of all the Avatars. The Qur’an also mentions:
.
Muhammad is not
The Father of any
Of your men, but (he is)
The Messenger of Allah,
And the seal (the last and final) of the Prophets,
And Allah has full knowledge
Of all things
(Al Qur’an 33:40)
.
Thus the Qur’an states that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is the Seal, i.e. last and final Prophet of Allah.///

"Antim avtar" does not mean last messenger, it means last incarnation of Hindu god Vishnu.
.
Srimad Bhagabatam makes this matter clear in these verse below:

"Lord Viṣṇu—the Supreme Personality of Godhead, the spiritual master of all moving and nonmoving living beings, and the Supreme Soul of all—takes birth to protect the principles of religion and to relieve His saintly devotees from the reactions of material work.

Lord Kalki will appear in the home of the most eminent brāhmaṇa of Śambhala village, the great soul Viṣṇuyaśā."

Dr Zakir further argues:
///Kalki Avatar will go to the mountains and receive knowledge from Parsuram, then go towards the north and come back. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did go to Jable-Noor i.e. the Mountain of Light, where he received the first Revelation from Archangel Gabriel. Later he went north to Madeenah and later made a victorious return to Makkah.///

Firstly, Sambhala can not be Makka which I have already said, so there can not be similarity of 'going to north and coming back' between Kalki and our prophet.
.
Secondly, Parashuram was another incarnation of Vishnu. Look at the reference of Wikipedia:

"Parashurama (Sanskrit: परशुराम, IAST: Paraśurāma, lit. Rama with an axe) is **the sixth avatar of Vishnu** in Hinduism. Like other avatars of Vishnu, he appears at a time when overwhelming evil prevailed on earth..."

Dr Zakir's next claim was:
///He will have the most graceful personality.
Kalki Avatar will have unparalleled grace. Qur’an mentions in Surah Al-Qalam chapter 68 verse 4:
And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character.

Endowed with eight special qualities
Kalki Avatar will be endowed with eight special qualities. These qualities are wisdom, respectable lineage, self-control, revealed knowledge, valour, measured speech, utmost charity and gratitude. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) had all these eight special qualities.

a) Wisdom – He was very wise. It is no wonder that several people approached him for guidance, even before he claimed to be a prophet.
.
b) Respectable lineage – He belonged to the noble tribe of Quraysh who were the caretakers of the sacred Kaaba.
.
c) Self-control – He was the best example of self-control. From history, we learn that his enemies on many occasions tried to instigate him. However, he was always patient and responded wisely.
.
d) Revealed knowledge – Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received the last and final revelation of God, which is the Glorious Qur’an through Archangel Gabriel.
.
e) Valour – Muhammad (pbuh) possessed great physical strength and courage. He took active part in the battles against his enemies and most of such battles were fought in self-defence against aggression by the other party.
.
f) Measured speech – Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) spoke with emphasis and deliberation that people could not forget what he said. In his intercourse with others he would sit silent among his companions for long time but when he spoke his speech was eloquent and full of meaning and advise.
.
g) Utmost charity – Muhammad (pbuh) was very charitable and never disappointed anyone who asked for help even in situations when he himself was in financial difficulties. Many poor people lived only on his generosity.

h) Gratefulness – Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was known for his gratefulness He showed immense gratitude to the Ansaars i.e. the helpers from the city of Madeenah.

10. Teacher of the World.
.
The Kalki Avatar will be the saviour of the world i.e. he will guide and teach the world. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did not only guide and save the Arabs but the whole humankind. The Qur’an mentions:
.
We have not sent thee
But as a universal Messenger
To men, giving them
Glad tidings, and warning them
(Against sin), but most men
Understand not.
(Al Qur’an 34:28)///

These qualities can not prove anything because these qualities can also be claimed to be presented in other people by the non-muslims. Now who will decide the correct person to be fit for the "Kalki Avtar"???

Dr Zakir says:
///Shiva will present a steed to Kalki avatar.
It is prophesied that Shiva will present an extraordinary steed to the Kalki Avatar. Muhammad (pbuh) received a steed from Almighty God, which was known as ‘Buraq’ and whose speed transcended.///

Shiva is third god of Trimutri or Trinity in Hinduism. How can we say that Prophet sallahu alaihi wa sallam took help from god Shiva??

Dr Zakir says,
///He will ride a horse and carry a sword.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) received a heavenly steed from Almighty God called ‘Buraq’ on which he made his heavenly journey known as ‘Miraaj’ or the ‘Ascension to the heavens’.
Moreover, we also learn from the history of the Prophet that he himself took part in battles, most of which were fought in self-defence, and on many such occasions, he rode a horse and carried a sword in his hand.///

Kalki will not be born at Makka and also kalki will not be helped by angels because kalki himself is the incarnation of god Vishnu. So just making such similarity is just baseless.
.
He further writes:
///He will subdue the wicked
It is mentioned that Kalki Avatar will subdue the wicked. It was prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who purified (transformed) bandits and miscreants and established them on the path of truth. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) came at a time, which was known as ‘Yaumul-Jahiliyah’, which means the “age or era of ignorance”. People indulged in various types of vices. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) brought them from darkness to light.
.
He will overpower the Devil with four companions
It is prophesied that Kalki Avatar, with four of his companions, will disarm Kali i.e. the devil. Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), with his four most trusted companions, fought against the mischief and the evil of the devil. These four companions were Abu Bakr, Umar, Uthman and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them all). These four companions later became the first four Khalifas and spread the religion of Islam. In Islamic parlance these four are referred to as ‘the rightly guided Caliphs’.///

It is just waste of time to make such similarities. It is mentioned in Srimad Bhagabatam:
.
"Lord Kalki, the **Lord of the universe**, will mount His swift horse Devadatta and, sword in hand, **travel over the earth** exhibiting His eight mystic opulences and eight special qualities of Godhead. Displaying His unequaled effulgence and riding with great speed, **He will kill by the millions** those thieves who have dared dress as kings."

In these above two verses, kalki is mentioned as **Lord of the universe**, now are you ready to accept it???

Again it is also said that kalki will travel the earth. Did our beloved prophet travel the whole world???
.
It is also mentioned that kalki will kill millions of kings! How many kings have been defeated during the time of our prophet???
.

At the end, Dr Zakir says:
///He will be assisted by angels.
The Kalki Avatar will be assisted by angels in the battlefield. In the battle of Badr, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was assisted by angels who descended from the heavens. This is also mentioned in the Qur’an in:
Surah Ale- Imran chapter 3 verse 123-125///

Where in Hindu scriptures, angels are mentioned??? There is no concept of angel in Hinduism. Look Dr Zakir himself has agreed this issue that there is no concept of angel in Hinduism. How can make similarity on this issue:

"Concept of Angels in Hinduism and in Islam
.
We shall now examine the belief in angels of God in these two major religions and study if there are similarities.
.
1. Angels in Islam
.
Angels are a creation of Allah (swt). They have been created from light and are normally unseen. They do not have a free will of their own and hence they always obey the commandments of Almighty Allah. Due to the absence of free will they cannot disobey God. Different angels have been appointed by Almighty Allah for different activities. For example, Archangel Gabriel (Jibreel) was appointed to convey the revelation of Allah (swt) to the prophets of Allah.
.
Since angels are a creation of God, and not God, Muslims do not worship angels.
.
2. Angels in Hinduism
.
There is no concept of angels in Hinduism. However Hindus believe that there are certain super-beings, which perform acts, which cannot be done by normal human beings. These super-beings too are worshipped as deities by some Hindus."

♦ My comment on Dr Zakir Naik's point of view:
.
Readers please do not please think that I am against Dr Zakir Naik because I Myself appreciate his works of Dawah. Even I respect Dr Zakir for his effort to spread the message of truth. But man is not free from error. Today we are seeing that many muslims are being inspired by him and starting to study on comparative religion and specially Hinduism. When they study Hinduism, they just blindly follow Dr Zakir's each point and when they make debate with Hindus, the Hindu people give much dissimilar points between kalki and Muhammad (peace be upon him) which they can not properly reply.

♦ Are the Muslims ready to accept Muhammad (peace be upon him) as an incarnation of God???:
.
First of all, I do not have any problem regarding the issue of Islamic explanation from "Bhavishya Purana" regarding the coming of Prophet Muhammad (sallahu alaihi wasallam) only from historical point of view, not from similar theological point of view.
Regarding the explanation from vedas, it is ambiguous to me. But I can not at all accept that Kalki is our beloved prophet.
.
Now once you are talking about Kalki, just give me the answer of a point. As per Hindu scriptures, it is established that Kalki is the 10th incarnation of god vishnu. Now if you agree on this issue that Kalki is our beloved prophet, then why not you can also accept that our prophet is the 10th incarnation of vishnu???
.
Look, Swami Vivekananda also gave his opinion about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and at the end, he gave the reference from Bhagavad Gita which says about the concept of incarnation.
.
"***[Mohammedanism] came as a message for the masses***.... The first message was equality.... There is one religion — love. No more question of race, colour, [or] anything else. Join it! That practical quality carried the day. ... The great message was perfectly simple. Believe in one God, the creator of heaven and earth. All was created out of nothing by Him. Ask no questions.......
........
These old people were all messengers of God. I fall down and worship them; I take the dust of their feet. But they are dead! ... And we are alive.......
.
Talking about faith and belief and doctrine is easy, but it is so difficult to build character and to stem the tide of the senses. We succumb. We become hypocrites. ...
.
[Religion] is not a doctrine, [not] a rule. It is a process. That is all. [Doctrines and rules] are all for exercise. By that exercise we get strong and at last break the bonds and become free. Doctrine is of no use except for gymnastics. ... Through exercise the soul becomes perfect. That exercise is stopped when you say, "I believe." ...
.
"Whenever virtue subsides and immorality abounds, ***I take human form.*** In every age I come for the salvation of the good, for the destruction of the wicked, for the establishment of spirituality." (Gita, IV. 7-8.)"

Now, if we accept that Ved Prakash is correct, then what is the proof that ISKCON is incorrect? Neither Ved Prakash nor Dr Zakir has made any debate with the scholars of ISKCON.
.
In this case, I have only one major question, if you as a Muslim believe that Kalki is our prophet, then why don't you ready to accept that our prophet is the incarnation of god vishnu? If you say that you are following Islam, and so you can not believe in incarnation, then why don't you follow the guideline of Quran properly???

♦ Guideline of Quran:
.
Allah says in the glorious Quran,
.
"Ibrahim (Abraham) was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah Alone) and **he was not of Al-Mushrikun.**
.
Verily, among mankind who have ***the best claim to Ibrahim (Abraham) are those who followed him***, and this Prophet (Muhammad SAW) and those who have believed (Muslims). And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers."
(The Noble Quran, 3:67-68;
translation by Khan and Hilali)

From these two verses, we can get the guideline. Here we can see that Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) was not among the Mushrik people. And as a Muslim, we should follow his way. The monotheism preached by Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) is called "Abrahamic faith" from historical point of view and under this faith, Islam, Christianity, Judaism etc have been included because their root concept is the same. And that's why Allah says in sura al-imran, ayat no 64 to find similarity with jews and Christians, not with mushrik people like Hindus.

Surah Aal-e-Imran 3:64:
.
قُلْ يَٰٓأَهْلَ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ تَعَالَوْا۟ إِلَىٰ كَلِمَةٍ سَوَآءٍۭ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمْ أَلَّا نَعْبُدَ إِلَّا ٱللَّهَ وَلَا نُشْرِكَ بِهِۦ شَيْـًٔا وَلَا يَتَّخِذَ بَعْضُنَا بَعْضًا أَرْبَابًا مِّن دُونِ ٱللَّهِۚ فَإِن تَوَلَّوْا۟ فَقُولُوا۟ ٱشْهَدُوا۟ بِأَنَّا مُسْلِمُونَ
.
"Say (O Muhammad SAW): "O people of the Scripture ***(Jews and Christians)***:
**Come to a word that is just between us and you**,
that we worship none but Allah, and that we associate no partners with Him, and that none of us shall take others as lords besides Allah. Then, if they turn away, say: "Bear witness that we are Muslims.""

Any Islamic scholar will tell you that here, 'people of the book' means Jews and Christians. So Quran is telling us to make similarity with Jews and Christians, not with mushrik people like Hindus because Hinduism is not the Abrahamic way, it is fully a mushrik way where the root concept is based on "shrik" and "kufr". So, there should be no similarity with shirk and kufr system.
The root concept of Islam and Christianity is the same when you are judging on the point of biblical verses with an Islamic mind. But the root concept of Hinduism is fully different as Hinduism is a pagan thought and Islam is the true monotheistic way. Besides when one is making similarity with mushrik thought, he is not following the Quranic guideline properly.

♦ How can you say "Kalki" as Muhammad (peace be upon him) when Kalki has done the act of "shirk"(associating partner with Almighty God)???
.
.
Look at these verses clearly. I am quoting from Kalki Purana, Chapter no 30:
.
"In the previous yuga, the brahmanas had worshiped the demigods, and to bewilder the masses of people, they had displayed some miniscule mystic powers. During the reign of Lord Kalki, all such cheating practices were stopped so that no atheists or hypocrites could be seen within his kingdom."[1]

So, as per above reference, we can see that Brahmanas used to worship demigods and cheat people. Kalki will come and stop their such practice.
.
Now can we ask you, where it is specifically said that Kalki will stop the practice of Idol worship???
Here it is said that Kalki will stop the cheating by Brahmanas who used to get their own benefit from worshipping of demigods. Kalki will come and stop their practice of cheating people. It does not mean, he will stop the whole system of Idol worship.
.
In Bhagabat Gita, Krishna, the previous incarnation of Vishnu is giving permission of worshipping demigods.
.
"I am in everyone's heart as the Supersoul. As soon as one desires to **worship the demigods**, **I make his faith steady so that he can devote himself to some particular deity.**"[2]
[Bhagavad Gita, 7:21]
.
As Kalki is the 10th incarnation of Vishnu, how can he stop such practice of worshipping demigods? Here the above verse only says that Kalki will stop the cheating and evil practices of Brahmans, not the whole system of idol worship.
.
The following verses of Kalki Purana say that Kalki will worship "Hari" meaning god Vishnu by doing sacrifices. Let us see some following verses.
.
"Lord Kalki thus happily resided in the city of Sambhala. One day, His father said: ***О benefactor of the demigods*** and all the people of the world,
we should perform a grand sacrifice for the welfare of the earth." [Kalki Purana, 30:5]
.
Look, in this verse, we can see that Kalki's father is calling Kalki as "benefactor of the demigods"!!! That means Kalki will come to benefit the the demigods too. So, how can we say that Kalki will stop idol worship???
.
The next verses further say,
.
"Being thus ordered by His father, Lord ***Kalki very humbly said: I will worship Lord Hari by performing the Rajasuya, asvamedha, and other
sacrifices***, which are prescribed in the karma- kanda sections of the Vedas, so that everyone can advance in three objectives of life—religiosity,
economic development, and sense gratification." [Kalki Purana, 30:6-7]
.
Here we can see from these verses that Kalki himself has agreed to do worship of Hari or Vishnu. And Vishnu is one of the major gods among Tri-murti or Trinity in Hinduism who is called as "God of sustainer".

The next verses say that Kalki did yajna or sacrifices and worshipped different sages and brahman pandit(scholar).
.
"Lord Kalki first worshiped all the sages, headed by Krpa, Parasurama,
Vyasa, Vasistha, Dhaumya, Akrtavrana,  Asvatthama, Madhucchanda, and Mandapala, as well as those brahmanas who were learned scholar of the Vedas. He then arranged to perform a sacrifice at a place located
between the Ganges and Yamuna. After taking a ritualistic bath, He gave
sufficient daksina to everyone."
[Kalki Purana, 30:8-9]

Some people like Dr Ved Prakash may say by his hypothesis that here Kalki will take a bath in Ganga and Yamuna - is an allegorical aspect. But how can he avoid the context???
Here in these verses, Sages or Rishis are human being. Kalki is doing worship of human being!!! It is a clear-cut shirk(associating partner with the one True Almighty Creator). How can it be perfect to say Kalki as our beloved prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)???
