হাদিসে রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলছেন,
"...সাবধান! কোন পুরুষ কোন মহিলার সাথে নির্জনে মিলিত হলে সেখানে অবশ্যই তৃতীয়জন হিসাবে শয়তান অবস্থান করে (এবং পাপাচারে প্ররোচনা দেয়)..."[১]

নারী-পুরুষের অবাধ মেলামেশার বিপক্ষে বলার জন্য হিন্দু ও মুক্তমনারা অনেক সমালোচনা করে থাকেন!! তো তাদের কাছে প্রশ্ন, মনুসংহিতার এই উদ্ধৃতিটি নিয়ে তারা কী বলবেন???

"কোনো ব্যক্তির উচিৎ নয় তার মা, বোন অথবা মেয়ের সাথে একাকী কোনো স্থানে অবস্থান করা; কারণ ইন্দ্রিয়গুলি হল শক্তিশালী এবং এমনকি একজন জ্ঞানী ব্যক্তির ওপর তা প্রভুত্ব করে থাকে!"[২]
