Refutation to Mawlid

Firstly, in Islam the mythology should be the mythology of Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam first, as Allah says,
.
.
"O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you.
.
**And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger,**
.
if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result." (Al-Quran, 4:59)
.
So, in the methodology of Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam, let us see, what the beloved prophet said about his birthday.
.
"Abu Qatadah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
.
**The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) was asked about fasting on Mondays.**

He said, "That is the day on which I was born and the day on which I received Revelation.""
.
[Muslim 1162; standard: Sahih; source - https://www.hadithbd.com/share.php?hid=26170]
.
So, let us look at some issue. Prophet peace be upon him has mentioned his "birthday" as monday, but he did not mention his date of birth. So, to follow the methodology of the prophet, the correct way is to celebrate every monday of every week, not a specified date of birth of the year.
.
Now how can we celebrate every monday? The above hadith is saying that by fasting on that day, because Prophet peace be upon him fasted on monday. From here we can tell that if we follow the methodology of the prophet peace be upon him, we should celebrate it only by fasting, not by any other way like arranging any special ceremony or making any food items and so on, because then it will contradict with the methodology of the Prophet.
.
Now when we have understood that the way to celebrate prophet's birthday is not to celebrate a specified day, but every monday of every week, then we have to understand in which niyat or in which intention prophet peace be upon has fasted on Monday. Right?
.
For this, let us see another hadith.
.
"Narrated Usamah ibn Zayd: The client of Usamah ibn Zayd said that he went along with Usamah to Wadi al-Qura in pursuit of his camels.
.
**He would fast on Monday and Thursday.**
.
His client said to him: Why do you fast on Monday and Thursday, while you are an old man?
.
He said: **The Prophet of Allah (ﷺ) used to fast on Monday and Thursday.**
.
When he was asked about it, he said: **The works of the servants (of Allah) are presented (to Allah) on Monday and Thursday."**
.
[Sunan Abu Dawood, Hadith 2428, Standard: Sahih; source - https://www.hadithbd.com/share.php?hid=34536]
.
So, let us look deeply.
.
Prophet peace be upon him gave the same importance on Thursday how much importance he gave on Monday. So, when fasting on Thursday and fasting on Monday have same amount of importance and Thursday is not the birthday of the prophet peace be upon him, so we can conclude that fasting on Monday is not for celebrating prophet's birthday, but for any other issue with any other intention. So what is that intention?
.
The above hadith is saying in one place //The works of the servants (of Allah) are presented (to Allah) on Monday and Thursday//, that means, the reason for fasting is to get freedom from sin and to satisfy Allah as on Monday and Thrusday our deeds are presented to Allah.
.
To make it more clear, let us see another hadith.
.
"Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
.
**The gates of Paradise are not opened but on two days, Monday and Thursday. and then every servant (of Allah) is granted pardon who does not associate anything with Allah except the person in whose (heart) there is rancour against his brother.**
.
And it would be said: Look towards both of them until there is reconciliation; look toward both of them until there is reconciliation; look towards both of them until there is reconciliation."
.
[Sahih Muslim, Hadith no. 6438, Standard: Sahih; source - https://www.hadithbd.com/share.php?hid=53537]
.
So, the main issue is that on Monday and Thursday, the gates of the paradise are opened, the sins of most of the muslims are forgiven if Allah wants except a few and the so the deeds of the servants are presented to Allah. And for this reason, to observe the these days in order to get satisfaction of Allah, prophet peace be upon him has shown us to keep fast on these two days or on monday as prophet peace be upon him says,
.
"Abu Hurairah narrated that: the Messenger of Allah said:
"Deeds are presented on Monday and Thursday,
.
**and I love that my deeds be presented while I am fasting.""**
.
[Tirmizi, hadith no. 747, standard: Sahih; source - https://www.hadithbd.com/share.php?hid=39676]
.
So, the intention of the prophet to observe monday or his birthday by fasting is not to celebrate that day as a birthday, but to get the satisfaction of Allah which is also done in the similar way on Thursday.
.
That's why if anyone wants to follow the correct methodology of the Prophet peace be upon him, then it will be contradictory when a person introduce some new method of celebrating a specified date of birth in a year as the birthday of Prophet sallallahu alaihi wa sallam. Allah says,
.
"..This day I have perfected for you your religion and completed My favor upon you and have approved for you Islam as religion..."
(The Noble Quran, 5:3)
.
So, when anyone adds some new methodology as a part of islam, then it will go against the above verse of the Quran as then islam will not be perfect or complete. But islam is indeed a complete way, so celebrating birthday as a new innovation can not be a part of religion of islam.
.
Even if we look at the salfee-salihin, the sahabas, tabayeen, tabay-tabayeen, they also did not consider the celebration of Prophet Muhammad's (sallallahu alaihi wasallam) birthday as a part of deen.

So if anyone thinks it as a part of religion, the ruling of this hadith below will be applied for him:
.
"...After I am gone, you will see great conflict. I urge you to adhere to my Sunnah and the path of the Rightly-Guided Caliphs, and cling stubbornly to it.
.
**And beware of newly-invented matters (bidah), for every innovation (bidah) is a going astray.'"**
.
[Ibn Mazah, hadith no. 42, standard: sahih; source - https://www.hadithbd.com/share.php?hid=9752]
.
Allah knows the best.
