Indian Philosophy is based on the concept of divinity of soul. According to this philosophy, God is the supreme soul and souls coming from the divine body of God, enter the damageable bodies. So, we are actually eternal souls, not the damageable bodies. But we are in ignorance thinking that we are the bodies, not the eternal souls. That is called 'Maya' or illusion due to our ignorance. Now, if we accept the theory that the soul is eternal, there remains a question why the eternal soul enters the damageable body? Why the perfect entity suddenly discovers itself in the bondage of illusion and starts to assume itself as imperfect??? But if you look at the Indian Philosophy deeply, you can not find any valid answer or explanation of this question which means that there is no proof that the soul is eternal and it is the part of the Supreme Soul.
