Who corrected the error?

Previously people thought that earth is the center of the solar system and the sun revolves around the earth.

The Bible says,

"The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself:
The ***the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved.***"

"And the sun stood still, and the moon stayed, **until the people had avenged themselves upon their enemies.**

Is not this written in the book of Jasher?

So the sun stood still in the midst of heaven, and hasted not to go down **about a whole day**."

We can see above from the first verse that earth is said to be fixed.
From the second verse, we can see that the sun stopped its movement for a few time and after that sun again begins its movement.

Both of these verses indicate that earth is fixed at the center and the sun moves around the earth as per Bible.

The Ancient Indian Philosophers whom are called as "Rishis" also thought the same that the sun is not the center of the solar system and so when it moves from one place to another, it does not move taking the other planets, but just moves singly and alone.

It is mentioned in the Yajur Veda,
.
"***The Sun moves single and alone.***
The Moon is brought to life again,
Fire is the remedy of cold; Earth is the great receptacle."

Today we can see clearly from the scientific research that the sun not only rotates around its own axis, it also moves in its way and travels the milky way galaxy with the other planets.

"....***A spot on the equator of the Sun takes 24.47 days to rotate around the Sun and return to the same position.***

Astronomers call this sidereal rotation period, which is different from the synodic period – the amount of time it takes for a spot on the Sun to rotate back to face the Earth. But the Sun’s rotation rate decreases as you approach the poles, so it can actually take 38 days for regions around the poles to rotate once..........

***The Sun and the entire solar system orbits around the center of the Milky Way galaxy.***
The average velocity of the solar system is 828,000 km/hr. At that rate it will take about 230 million years to make one complete orbit around the galaxy........."

Now, if we look at the Quranic verses, we can also find that the sun is moveable. But it does not say like the previous scriptures that the sun is the center of the solar system or it moves singly and alone.

Let us see some translation of Quran, 14:33.

"And He hath made subject to you the sun and the moon, both diligently pursuing their courses; and the night and the day hath he (also) made subject to you."

"And He subjected for you the sun and the moon, continuous [in orbit], and subjected for you the night and the day."
.
(Quran, 14:33, Sahih International translation)

"And He has made the sun and the moon, both constantly pursuing their courses, to be of service to you; and He has made the night and the day, to be of service to you."

(Quran, 14:33, Khan/Hilali translation)

The same issue is mentioned in many places in the Quran that the sun and the moon both are moveable.

In the Tafsir, Ibn Kathir says on the Quranic verse 14:33,
.
"The sun and the moon rotate in succession, and the night and the day are opposites, each taking from the length of the other or giving up some of its length..."

Now think deeply, a few days ago, the scientific theory suggested that the sun is not moveable, it is stationary. So, who could know almost 1400 years ago correctly in the field of arabia that the sun is also moveable like other celestial bodies, but it is not the center of the solar system when the illiterate Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) could neither read, nor write? When people were in superstition and absorbed in worldly desire? Who corrected the previous thought before the scientific discovery which can be known to us a few days ago after great scientific research???

Indeed, it indicates that it should be from the One Who is controlling the Universe, the One and Only True Creator Allah.

"And it is not the word of a poet; little do you believe.
Nor the word of a soothsayer; little do you remember.
[It is] a revelation from the Lord of the worlds."
