Slavery in different religion....

Slavery is mentioned not only in Quran and Hadith but in Hindu scriptures and Bible too. It is even present today also that can not be fully removed from the society yet. But the people only point their fingers only to Islam.

Hindu Scripture manusmriti says,

"***There are slaves of seven kinds,*** (viz.) he who is made a captive under a standard, he who serves for his daily food, he who is born in the house, he who is bought and he who is given, he who is inherited from ancestors, and he who is enslaved by way of punishment."

(Manusmriti, 8:415)

The Bible says,
"***Your male and female slaves are to come from the nations around you; from them you may buy slaves.***
You may also buy some of the temporary residents living among you and members of their clans born in your country, and they will become your property.
You can bequeath them to your children as inherited property and can make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your fellow Israelites ruthlessly."

The other religions only say about Slavery, but Islam shows the practical way how to remove the slavery fully and gradually from the society, yet the people can not digest the solution and blame Islam again and again.

Quran inspires to make the slaves free with good treatment.

"And what can make you know what is [breaking through] the difficult pass?
***It is the freeing of a slave***"

Even Islam commands to treat a slave like a family member.

Narrated Al-Ma'rur: "At Ar-Rabadha I met Abu Dhar who was wearing a cloak, and his slave, too, was wearing a similar one. I asked about the reason for it. He replied, "I abused a person by calling his mother with bad names." The Prophet said to me, 'O Abu Dhar! Did you abuse him by calling his mother with bad names You still have some characteristics of ignorance.

***Your slaves are your brothers and Allah has put them under your command.***
.
***So whoever has a brother under his command should feed him of what he eats and dress him of what he wears.***
.
***Do not ask them (slaves) to do things beyond their capacity (power) and if you do so, then help them.'***
